The Saitek X56 Rhino is the follow-up to Saitek’s highly praised X-55 and is inspired by the H.O.T.A.S. (Hands on Throttle and Stick) systems you see in combat aircraft. The stick has 16-bit sensors on its axles that can detect the tiniest change in the positioning of your stick, allowing you to fly with extreme accuracy (or military precision). The throttle can be used for single or dual engine aircraft.
The X56 comes with four different springs to let you determine the resistance of your joystick. You can choose the flying experience that suits you best! The same goes for the throttle, where tension is adjustable.
With the help of the software provided, the Saitek X-56 H.O.T.A.S. can be completely customised. Create deadzones and movement curves the way you prefer. Then use the software to configure all the buttons, including the seven 3-way switches and two dials.
Space simulation games such as Star Citizen and Elite Dangerous are becoming more and more popular. By adding an analogue joystick at the front, that gives you more movement options in simulations, Saitek handily plays into this trend. The stick also has an adjustable RGB-lighting to colour your spacecraft.
